Overview
Multi-site solar installation and efficiency program across 12 government facilities, demonstrating public sector leadership in sustainability.
The Challenge
The St. Lucia government was spending over $1.1 million annually on electricity across 12 key administrative buildings. As a small island developing state (SIDS), the country committed to reducing public sector energy consumption by 35% under its NDC climate commitments, but lacked the technical capacity to design and manage a multi-site program.
Our Solution
We conducted feasibility studies for all 12 sites, designed custom solar installations ranging from 40 kW to 200 kW per building, and implemented a centralised monitoring platform. The program included rooftop and carport solar installations, energy efficiency improvements (LED lighting and HVAC upgrades), and staff training on energy management.
Services Delivered
- Feasibility Study
- Solar Installation
- Performance Monitoring
